Drive -Seven Lakes

The full day round trip starts in Bariloche, passes through Villa La Angostura, and then continues through the native Patagonian forest past seven lakes. 

The seven Lakes route is, without doubt, one of the most beautiful drives in the region. Well-known throughout all Argentina, it begins 11 km south of Villa la Angostura and unites this city with San Martin de los Andes on a serpentine road covering 110 kilometers.  From rustic hosterias to crystal clear water, this is an excursion for nature lovers who enjoy experiencing a variety of scenic wonders in one short trip.

San Martin de los Andes is a small picturesque mountain village, well worth a visit.  Located on the shores of Lake Lacar, the downtown offers upper-end shopping and dining.
